Refund & Cancellation Policy

At BuildIQ, we aim to provide transparent, fair, and professional service. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for our consulting services.

Free Introductory / Assessment Calls

  • These calls are free.

  • You may cancel or reschedule at any time.

  • We appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice, but it is not required.

Once you sign a consulting agreement and payment is made, the following terms apply:

Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel before any work has started, you will receive a full refund, minus any applicable processing fees.

Cancellation After Work Has Started

If work has already begun, refunds are based on the work completed:

  • You will be refunded for any unused portion of the service.

  • Time already spent on your project is non-refundable.

  • Minimum billing increments may apply based on your agreement.

We will provide a clear breakdown of completed work upon request.

For services charged as a flat fee:

  • If canceled before delivery, you will be refunded proportionally to the amount of work completed.

  • Once the service is fully delivered, the fee is non-refundable.

Any digital guides, tools, templates, or downloadable materials:

  • Are non-refundable once delivered.

​

6. Project Delays

Refunds are not provided for delays caused by:

  • Contractors

  • Municipalities or inspectors

  • Third-party professionals

  • Client decision-making or changes

  • External factors (weather, supply chain, etc.)

We will continue providing support according to your agreement.
